"You've got exactly five minutes to say your farewells starting… now." The guard slammed the door behind him making the strong German nation jump. Germany quickly shook it off and ran to the table placed in the center of the room.
"Bruder! Please answer me!" Germany pleaded.
"Hey West." Prussia said in a weak voice as he began to smile his signature smile.
"Bru-" Germany was cut off by Prussia's sharp gesture.
"Hey West? I know I haven't said it much…" Prussia slowly brought his hand down to his side and hesitated to speak. "But.. Ich Liebe Dich."
At that Germany froze. His brother had never said that to him since he was younger. Before Germany could respond Prussia continued.
"You know I always have right? Heh… It's funny how you always depended on me back then. You were such a crybaby too." Prussia's smile widened as he began to remember the days of the great Prussia and always having Germany trail behind him. " I'm not gonna always be there for you. Sometimes…You'll have to face your problems alone… You understand me, West?" Germany slowly nodded as Prussia's cheerful smile slowly melted into a face Germany had never seen before… a face of sadness and complete seriousness.
"Remember that one day when you were little when I told you that, 'when you were fully ready I would give you my entire kingdom? As you can see I have finally grown weak and it is now that I… who is dependent on you." Prussia held back the tears forming in his eyes wanting to keep Germany from noticing his pain. The Allied powers had originally planned to dissolve Germany but Prussia decided to take his place. It wasn't like anyone cared about me anymore. To them I should have died sooner.
"When my time comes, the day I finally dissolve and pass," Both glanced up at the clock knowing that he didn't have a day he had less than five minutes. Germany began to cry, breaking his cold hard shell the world knew him as and became the child his brother had once comforted. "Please don't cry, West." He weakly reached for his brother's face to wipe the tears away. "You've got a nation to take care of. Live for the both of us. Please promise me this." Prussia's voice began to crack and instead of sounding like a favor it sound more like a plea. Germany closed his eyes remembering the last time Prussia begged him for anything. The small streams flowing from his eyes became greater as he opened his eyes and looked down at his brother. The once strong arrogant nation he knew and loved was replaced with one who was sad and regretful.
"Bruder, please don't go!" Germany pulled his older brother into an embrace.
"Please, promise me you will, Deutschland, Germany."
"I will." Suddenly the same guard threw the door open.
"Well if it isn't the strong Germany crying like a child. You have overstayed your welcome, you must leave." The guard advanced towards the two and Germany felt a wave of anger flow over him.
"West, please go. Don't do anything unawesome, okay?" The older nation asked and pulled a half smile onto his face.
Germany nodded and slowly walked out of the room, his eyes never leaving the ground. The chattering fell silent as he passed by, out of fear the others ran from him. He watched as the three big Allied powers walk by him and disappear into the room he had just exited. As he made his way out of the building he stopped as an ear-splitting scream echoed the halls. They dissolved his nation, my bruder's nation.
"Iche Liebe Dich, bruder. I shall live for us both."
