This story was written just after I watched the 2010 Olympic Female freestyle skiing competition. All names have been fictionalized, but the events have not. I don't own Hetalia. Alfred's POV.
---
"And Jenny Keil of Canada has moved into First place!"
I ground my teeth. That was a damn good run.
"Did you see that, Alfred? Huh? Did you?! DID YOU?!" Matthew cheered.
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, i saw you bump one of Kiku's best off the podium. But don't forget he has one more, and Ivan's in the hot seat still," I grinned, "And I still have my girls."
A childishly huffy voice joined in. "You aren't nice, Matthew," Ivan grumbled.
"Why not?" Matt said turning to face him.
"Because you bumped me into-"
"Holy smokes! Aeko Usawa of Japan has just reached second!"
"YEAH!!" Kiku cheered, leaping out of his seat, "Russia's done for!!"
Ivan looked pissed, "Nyet! I will NOT lose to miscreants!"
"Heh. Sorry to say, Ivan, but you are."
I pointed to the top of the slope. One of my skiers was about to start her run.
Kiku laughed, "There's no way, Alfred-san, that an American skier can make it to the podium. Not with me in the way, at least."
"Nyet. I refuse to fall below third," Ivan hissed.
Matt grinned, "Don't forget that I have one more-"
"Shut up, Matthew-san!" Kiku snapped, placing a hand on his sword.
(Author: Heh-heh...yeah...just go with it! ^^' )
"Nyet, you shut up Kiku!"
My attention was on the slope, and not on the fighting that had erupted behind me. My small grin grew wider and wider as my skier raced down.
"Easy...easy..."
"Incredible! Heather Berkly has just booted Kiel out of first place and Bekah Slovkiev off the podium!"
"Ha-HA! YES!" I shouted.
Behind me, the fighting between my brother and Kiku increased while Ivan quit dejectedly. "I'm a failure. A pathetic failure," He said as he sat down next to Yao on the benches.
The next competitor was Canadian, a threat. I chewed my lip as she had her run. Whoa, wait, a stumble?! HA! I still had a chance! one more girl left, and she was one of mine!
As my last Olympian started her run, I settled into the open first place chair.
"Another sensational run by team USA! And, with that, the US takes the gold and bronze in women's freestyle."
"Heh. I win."

Whoo! 2010 Winter Olympics!
Ivan: What's so great about them?
Meh: Oh-ho! Bitter, are we?
Ivan: What's it to you?
Meh: Aw, don't worry! the Olympics have only just started, so you could get a medal soon.
Alfred: As if.
Matthew: Yeah right.
Ivan:
*This portion has been edited for violence between Ivan and the North America brothers.*
Meh: Oy! If this keeps up, I'm gonna need an aspirin!
