First posted yuri. Yay me. Hope you like it.
Kairi had always hated the mirror that sat across the room. Every time she'd wake up in the middle of the night as a child she would think someone else watching her and it took her all night to go back to sleep and assure herself that it was just her reflection. Now she knew someone was watching her.
Some nights, when she looked up in her still groggy state instead of her dark red hair, she would see silvery blonde. The girl lying were she should have been watched her with a mysterious grin playing on her pink lips. The small slant of moonlight danced on her pale skin and white dress. The girl would put an elegant finger to her lips and somehow lull Kairi back to sleep.
On other nights, she wouldn't replace Kairi. Instead Kairi would see herself and felt ghostly-light arms draped across her waist. The girl would plant soft kisses on her face and down her neck and shoulders. Kairi would silently moan her name and after some time returned those same kisses to her.
Then there were nights where she wasn't there at all. These were the nights that Kairi had begun to hate. But when she slipped back into her dreams, the girl was waiting for her.
Kairi wondered distantly one night if Sora ever felt like this. But she didn't put too much thought into it.
She felt grateful for the mirror now.
