Title: Instances where Vortex should have stayed in the detention center.
Prompts: "Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before", and "My relationship to you can only be defined as masochistic." (Prompt #2)
Summary: Stupid (it was a matter of perception) things Vortex has done, while dragging his team into them.
Notes/Warnings: None, written for tf_speedwriting.
"If we glue it back together Onslaught will never notice"
It was a lie. The device was so completely shattered it could have been used as sprinkles over an energon sundae. Brawl tilted his head, considering.
"You really think?"
Of course not. Idiot.

Blast Off was angry in a way that caused his grip to dent Vortex's armour hard enough that mechs would ask questions later. Behind them lay what remained of the shuttle's room.
"Don't ever," the larger mech grit, "do that again."
Vortex couldn't help, but grin (he would do that again, Blast Off should know better) and he wiggled his fingers in a gesture both playful and lewd.
"So, I'm guessing you don't like surprises?"
Later the Constructicons would grumble about the helicopter shaped dent in the wall. When asked, Blast Off didn't tell and Vortex just laughed.

"No, no, no, no, no….no," he had started keeping track of the number of times Swindle repeated that word. Twenty and counting, "no. You did not just—"
"What? It worked out perfectly"
"He just…you liquefied him"
"By accident"
"How the frag do you do that by accident"
"I was aiming for his head, and he moved"
There was a pause.
"Just—never mind. Let's go, and this is the last time I take you with me on a pick-up"
"You're no fun"

"Explain to me exactly why you saw if fit to glue Breakdown to a wall, while pointing five different cameras at him"
"Oh come on Ons, even you thought it was funny"
Evidently it wasn't the right thing to say, since he got three weeks of cleaning duty rather than two.
