She's standing on the stage under the bright lights watching in the background as Rachel shines even brighter than the blinding lights, and then she sees it happen and her heart catches in her throat until that tight sensation sinks to the bottom of her stomach. She watches Finn wrap and arm around Rachel and look down at her as if she's the sun, as if she's his world, as if she's the only one that'll ever matter, and watching them, Quinn's pretty sure she's seen this movie before. She's pretty sure it played out almost the exact same way. There's Finn making puppy-dog eyes at Rachel, looking at the Diva in the way that Quinn's wished he'd look at her. She knows that this movie doesn't end the way she'd like. She know it ends with Finn and Rachel riding off into the sunset singing sweet anthems of love and triumph and beauty while she's left alone on the stage under the bright lights that seem to cast her into shadow rather than illuminating her like they do Rachel. She's seen this movie before and she already knows how it ends. Moreover, she knows she doesn't like the way it ends so she's not sure why she's still watching.
