The sun peeked through the blinds and the birds chirped and sang, each male trying to sing longer and louder than its rivals to capture the females' attention. Inside the room, two bodies are lying down on the bed, a mess of tangled sheets and naked limbs, but one of them is not quite asleep.

Ace gazes through half-lidded eyes at the blond man next to him, the corners of his lips quirked up in a small smile. His vision's blurry, his mind still in a daze, heavy with memories from the previous night.

Marco trails kisses down his neck to his collarbone, his hands roaming up and down his chest, setting his skin ablaze with his touch and Ace bites his bottom lip, holding back moans.

His hand goes to his neck inadvertently, his fingers rubbing the swollen, still sensitive spot where Marco sucked, and he lets it wander down to his chest.

"Here," Marco says, his voice barely a whisper, his lips brushing against his neck. "Or," he sticks out his tongue and traces a wet line down to his nipple and circles it, licks it, kisses it. "Here? Which do you prefer?"

The boy exhales without a sound and licks his lips, closing his eyes momentarily, feeling the growing throb, the warmth spreading as his body comes awake with sensation. Next to him Marco's body lies nude and warm, always so warm…

His ears pick up his even, relaxed breaths in the complete silence, but in Ace's mind the previous night's sounds are still clear. Hushed moans and murmured declarations of love, the soft smacking of their lips and the quick intakes of breath and shaky exhales… A shiver runs down his spine.

He turns his body to Marco, the mattress creaking under his weight, his arm stretched out to touch him, his fingers reaching for his skin… when Marco moves, shifts his position until he is facing Ace, a soft, lazy grin spreading over his features. "Hi," he murmurs.

Ace's widened eyes wrinkle at the corners as he smiles back, his fingers reaching down to caress his cheek. "Hi," he says, and just like that the desire building up inside him almost as if fades slightly, burns less brightly for a moment, but Ace knows the flames will always be there as a comforting constant. Marco's smile spreads a different kind of warmth over him, one that spreads from within, and spreads and spreads.

He pushes himself up to his elbows, scooting closer to Marco, and he leans down to kiss his forehead. Marco's smile widens – and Ace wishes they could stay like that forever.

It's a bit short but it's my first time writing MarcoAce and I really wanted to write something for Valentine's Day! Feedback is very much appreciated!
