"Hello, my brothers. I have an announcement to make." Nick Jonas was speaking in eloquent tones; beautiful rich noises were being emitted from his mouth as he addressed his other brothers, the Jonas Brothers. "There are two very important things I need to inform you about. They are of the utmost importance, so I would appreciate it if you could give me your full attention."

"Ah yes, dear brother, what is it that you need to tell us?" asked Paul Kevin Jonas, more commonly known as simply Kevin Jonas. Kevin was preparing breakfast for his brothers, as a nice gesture. He was preparing Belgian waffles, topped with a crunchy yet sweet layer of bran and brown sugar. This was his favorite meal, and he felt it was appropriate to share it with his brothers, with whom he was touring around the United States for their Jonas Brothers concert tour.

"Do tell, Nicolas," came the dulcet tones of Joe Jonas's voice, who was lounging on a couch with his copy of On The Road by Jack Kerouac. Joe felt this book was incredibly amazing, and felt it was appropriate to be reading now that he himself was embarking on a road trip across the United States in the Jonas Brothers Traveling Trailer. Oh, I identify with this book on so many different levels!, thought Joe to himself, as the morning sun came in through the window and illuminated his chiseled features.

"Do not be alarmed," said Nick. "My first announcement is that I have just discovered that I am afflicted with diabetes." Diabetes is a disease that many people in America have, and Nick had just discovered that he was afflicted with it as well as the other people in America who are.

"Oh dear!" exclaimed Kevin, and he turned off the waffle-iron he was using and hurried across the room to lock his younger brother in a warm embrace.

"I don't believe I will be able to eat your waffles anymore," confessed Nick, and this meek statement coming from his small, frail, and sickly little brother caused Kevin to burst into tears.

"We will always be there to support you, Nicolas. Always." Joe had closed his copy of the book, gingerly placed it on the ornate coffee table in front of him, and slowly raised himself up to his full height – an impressive five feet, six inches – and walked over to where his brothers stood, locked in a tight embrace, tears streaming down their cheeks.

"That means a great deal to me, Joe, so thank you," said Nick, and he engulfed Joe in the hug that was currently being shared between himself and Kevin.

After one-quarter hour of crying and lots of tears, Nick made a move to break away from the embrace of his brothers. Wiping his face to clear the tears, he began to speak. "My second announcement is this. I am the father of Jamie Lynn Spears's child."
