"Beautiful."

This was the only word Garvey thought when he and Edwin went to the grassland in spring. Unsurprisingly, it was beautiful. "Well, this is it," Edwin said. "The perfect place for us to have our date." Garvey was confused at first, but then he remembered that he and Edwin had been dating for quite a while, it's just that they've been spending so much time with problematic Cole Matthews, and they decided to not tell Cole they were dating, due to fear of Cole coming up with a plan to hurt them, because they were afraid he was homophobic. However, ever since Cole got sent to the island, the two decided that it was best to go on date without having Cole to watch over.

After setting down the picnic blanket, the two sat down together on the blanket. It was warm and peaceful. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and there was not a cloud in sight. Then something hit Garvey.

"Edwin?"

"Yes Garvey?"

"Do you think sending Cole to the island was the right idea? I'm just worried it might make him more angry."

"Let me tell you something. I think if Cole finds a helpless animal on the island, he'll realize it's just like his problems, and he'll become more sympathetic towards others, despite what he's been through. I think you'll start to understand more when you think about it."

Garvey thought for a moment, then he thought maybe Edwin was right. Just before he could say anything, Edwin pulled out a picture. "This was me when I first joined Circle Justice." Edwin said. "I was only young at the time and thought life would be harder in Circle Justice. However, I realized that the Circle is supposed to help, not stress. So I think maybe the Circle can help Cole.". Garvey responded, "Maybe you're right.". The rest of the time was the two of them laying on the blanket together, making each other laugh before Edwin finally kissed Garvey's left cheek and rested his head on Garvey's stomach. Garvey was surprised when Edwin did both of these things, but he didn't mind. When Edwin laid his head on Garvey to take a short nap, Garvey put one of his hands on Edwin's side to keep him warm. Then Garvey ended up going into a short nap with Edwin.
