Horace POV
When I met her as a woman, she was carefree, independent and confident. She had just escaped the Higglebottom lad and was a few years out of Hogwarts. She was sipping her tea unaware of me.
She was in her twenties and I was in my fifties, but I still approached her. She had the gall to laugh at me despite the strange collection of multi-chrome scarves around her neck. But alas, I made her see reason – that I was the only man for her. Of course today was a perfect day, my second perfect day and I was fifty-seven. Thank you Felix Felicis.
