disclaimer: I do not own Sofia the first nor Cedric the sorcerer.
AN: a oneshot that I had previously written, but they had asked me to translate them, so here is the first one, and it is also the first one I wrote about this couple a long time ago.
I hope you like it, let me know what you think.
Greetings and lots of magic for everyone.
Looking towards the wall, a shadow was approaching her.
She was there so tense, it was strange to see her like that, knowing that she had always been a strong and determined woman.
Her purple dress with faint decorations along her skirt, despite the spongy she was, allowed her to appreciate her figure as a woman, she was no longer a child like the day she had arrived at the castle.
But ... Something happened to her ... Something afflicted him, he approached her, cleared his throat not to take her by surprise.
-What happens to you? - He asked.
-Nothing- she just answered.
-I know you- he replied. -I know when something bothers you.-
She shrugged and he dared approach, took her arms and turned her with a soft movement.
-Look at me,- he said, taking her chin to raise her face, she only sighed. -What have you done to put yourself like that ?, Tell me who was the coward that made you cry.
-It was me- she said in a broken voice,
He was just surprised.
-What do you mean?-
-I, hiding my feelings, but I'm afraid.-
- Tell me what happens - he said, stepping back to give him a little space. -tell everything to your friend Cedric.
She could not contain herself anymore and a tear rolled down her cheek causing her to sob.
-Normally I know how to act, what to say, but now I am afraid, afraid that when I confess, and that nothing is the same, there is no going back and everything collapses, that if I have the courage to say what I feel, my feet leave and I can not go after what I love, and lose what I have loved the most. That they deny me being happy and that the rest of my life is bitter, but ... I can not hide it anymore, I can not keep repressing the feelings that grow more and more each day, that have matured and become embedded in my heart, a heart that may not be beating any more on this day.-
-Sofia ... I ... I ...-
He paused, feeling what he was saying, but still in doubt.
-I'm here to help you.-
She looked at him and sighed, knowing that it was time to risk or leave everything forever.
-Cedric, if I were honest with you, you promise not to leave and nothing will change between us.-
He nodded, a little unsure of what the princess was referring to.
She approached him, looked into his eyes, still did not say anything, opened his mouth to say something, but the words did not come out and she tried again.
But he could not take it anymore, she rushed at him stealing a kiss from him; with a sigh and he was only amazed, but slowly the act corresponded, bringing his right hand to the neck of the princess, and his left hand to the waist, tilted his head for a better position and closer to him, as if her contact was the most necessary thing to live.
Everything was perfect, a declaration of love without words, only them in eternity, knowing that love was mutual ...
Suddenly, a croak was heard, he raised his head and looked at his crow, standing at the window.
Cedric shook his head to react, had fallen asleep at his desk, over a book of potions.
-Only a dream- He told himself. -Only a beautiful dream.-
That was all he could say, as he rose from his chair to continue what he had done before such a beautiful dream.
