Keetra: Hey all, once again! Well, I may have tapped in to the old poet in me cuz I got inspiration about this poem about the Jyunishi of Fruits Basket! This poem is based more on the manga, and I've only read up to 14 which is the last book out in my area. So, if more info comes out on like the rooster and Akito… I may rewrite this or I may keep it the same. I already had to rewrite the Horse part after book 14 came out. I finished this just after 13, lost the notebook it was in and when I found it, I had read 14, which goes more into Rin's past. Please read, enjoy and feel free to review! I know this poem aint the best I've ever written so critiques are well accepted since I will be continually updating this (if I remember to... and if I'm not too lazy. That's a factor as well. LOL!) Anyways, here ya go! The Jyunishi are in no special order. I could use help on that too.

The Cursed Jyusnishi

By: Keetra

"Prince Yuki" is the rat;

Ever challenged by the cat;

Running away from the past;

Now he can smile and laugh.

Kyo is the cat, of course;

Outcast of Jyunishi curse;

His fights with Yuki are getting worse;

Though his words to Tohru are less terse.

Hentai Shigure is the dog;

He enjoys making his editor sob;

Writes naughty novels all day long;

They call what he does a job!

The baby dragon is Hatori;

They think the seahorse is so funny;

With the power to erase memory;

Destined to a life of tears is he.

Momiji is the genki one;

The rabbit year with ears so long;

He's not remembered by his mum;

But still his smile will live on.

Ayame is the snake so thin;

Someone send him to the loony bin!

Wants to be the brother he has never been;

But will Yuki let him in?

Kagura Sohma is the boar;

Only Kyo-kun will she adore;

Oh no! she broke another door;

And Kyo's unconscious on the floor.

Hatsuharu's oh so cool;

Like an ox, he's colors two;

Black will fight with Kyo-kun;

While white will share his love with you.

Lost her voice, this tiger did;

Teased of color her hair is;

Tohru helped, though she was bit;

Now Kisa's a happily talking kid!

Young Hiro, the ram he be;

So mean to Tohru is he;

His love for Kisa we now see;

My, my, what a typical teen.

Oh how Ritsu makes me laugh;

This monkeys got the cross-dresser fad!

He's so depressed, it makes me sad;

No wonder his mother's health is so bad.

Rin the horse plays an angry part;

She wants to break the curse apart;

Keeper of Hatsu's heart;

Is this love doomed at the start?

Kureno's appearance was way too short;

Forced to be Akito's escort.

He seems the very quiet sort;

Which makes Uo-chan love him more.

Akito-san is Jyunishi God;

No wonder pleasing him is so hard;

Faking love with all his heart;

Then, leaving bruises as he parts.

All Jyunishi to Tohru have appeared;

The end seems so very near;

Whose heart will Tohru-kun hold dear;

Where's the next book, Takaya, dear?
