A/N: This dribble series will mostly be set in an AU. During the Enishi arc, the dojo was set on fire right as Sano returned from his childhood home. I'm not sure if I'm going to be continuing this series or not after the first two chapters.
I'm standing there looking at the blaze destroying everything I found in the last year or so. I haven't seen Yahiko, who would be the only one living there. The little missy would be in tears if she had been alive, watching her home burn down. Tears that I thought were long gone, slid out of my eyes
"Sagara, I thought you left town with your tail in between your legs." I turn to look at the man, who was just leaning against the wall smoking. Saito looked normal, but his world didn't just get burned up. I turn back to the fire. What kind of fate has him be the one to find me here, crying?
"You were right about me."
