A long forgotten memory
It was a clear sunny day n the hidden leaf village. The birds were cheerfully chirping in a well synchronized rthym, the sun was radiating a pleasant heat andyet a small figure failed to noticethat….
It was recess time in the academy and everyone was off playing- except for a certain pink haired girl.
Haruno Sakura was having the worst day ever! Since Ino was sick and couldn't come- she was all alone. That meant that the other girls would take this as an oppertunityto pink on the cherry blossom-again.
She was now perched on a very old oak tree, had been teased yet again.
"why did my forehead have to be so wide…and why did Ino-chan have to be abscent today"she wailed out to the open field in front of didn't expect anyone to hear her and was startled to hear a response.
"uh….are you ok?" the voice inquired.
Sakura turned and stared wide-eyed at the owner of the voice. It was none other than Uchiha Sasuke himself.
"im fine" she said thickly tears streaming down her cheeks.
"yoo sure don't look like you are to me". Said the young uchiha prodigy sitting beside her.
Sakura couldn't take it anymore- she started sobbing though silently, she didn't want the boy to think she was weak or need defending.
"hey why are you crying"beacause the other girls tease you about your forehead? Well you shouldn't listen to them theyre just a bunch of fangirls with mud for brains!" sasuke said lookingoff in the direction where the few kids were playing-with a small frown etched across his face.
The comment made Sakura blush and like always she was at a loss for words.
"i…uh…t-t-t-thank y-you" she managed to stutter out.
" forget about it…uh…here take this" he said suddenly producing an apple.
She flashed him a teary smile that made the little Uchiha blush.
Sakura opened her eyes and smiled as she recalled the memory she had just visited.
" it seems so long ago: she said as she lay back down on the cold yet welcoming grass staring into the night.
But as she turned to her side, next to the raven haired man fast asleep,she realized that despite all the hardships they had to face nothing had changed not even her feelings for him.
She took one last look at the man and slowly closed her eyes,the cool night breeze gently lulling her to sleep.
A/N: so this is just something I came up with unexpectedly. In case anyone didn't get the last bit, Sakuke was home and they were resting while on a mission. That's when Sakura had the please review!
