AN: Hello, long time no post. School's been bombardering me with so many things. It's all so stressful.

"A person who dreams of love, is the one who waits.

And a person who waits can recognize the love when it comes near him."

"I like you, Jerome" Willow tried to blink her tears away as she forced herself to look up at the tall blond in front of her "and it hurts me to see they way you look at her."

"Willow–" Jerome ran his hand through his hair in a frustrated manner.

"No, let me finish" she cut him off "I see the admiration in your eyes when you look at her. I see the passion, the love and every time I can't help but wish that it was me that you look at that way. You still love her, don't try to deny it."

"I-I…" he was speechless, she was right. He was still in love with someone else.

"Who am I to you?" she asked her voice cracking and hoarse. "Why did you ask me out when you still clearly have feelings for her? Was I just a rebound? A quick fix to a broken heart? Answer me! Who am I to you!?"

Jerome looked at her, she was crying now and he felt guilty as hell. "You're Willow Jenks." He answered "Amazing, weird, cooky, fantastic Willow Jenks" he took a step closer to her, placing his hands on her shoulders. "The girl that I hurt because of my stupidity."

He added the last part almost as a whisper; his voice was so low and hushed.

"I may not be that clever but I'm not that dumb not to see that you still love Mara." She said as she shrugged his hands off of her and took a step back.

"I'm sorry" was his only response.

Willow looked at him with intense eyes, she examined his face and she could see the guilt and sadness in his features but she knew that he didn't really like her; he was still hung up on Mara.

Jerome's gaze never left Willow's, until she slapped him across his face.

"Sorry is not a verb. It won't do anything for you, Jerome." She stated "It won't magically make me feel better, but I wish it did because I'm beyond repair but, it doesn't matter because you don't care about me. You still love Mara, go ahead, go to her, court her again. Make her fall for you again and forget about me!"

"Willow, I'm so, so, so terribly sorry that I hurt you and I know you probably won't forgive me that easily and I'm not sure if it'll make a difference but, I can never forget you." He half smiled at her, trying to make her feel better. "You're too weird"

She rolled her eyes and tried to hide her smile but it didn't work and it Jerome took note of this and smiled at her again. She hit him almost playfully in his chest, still trying to hide her smile.

"Don't make me laugh! I'm trying to be mad here" she stated and it made Jerome hug her. "Go to her" She said, almost as a whisper in his chest.

"W-what?" He looked down at her.

"Go to Mara, sweep her off her feet, and make her fall for you again" She smiled "but promise me one thing"

"Anything."

"Don't you dare forget about me. Don't just walk past me in the hallways and act like I'm nothing. Don't ignore me, don't forget about me."

"Not a chance"
