Annabeth and Percy were lying together under the apple tree. Flowers sprinkled on them like a shower in nature.
"Percy, I love you", Annabeth murmured as she fingered her promise ring. Percy smiled at her.
"I love you too", Percy responded. Annabeth smiled and kissed her boyfriends forehead. Usually the two would fight over who loved the other person most but they decided to let the peace last. Annabeth felt a question tugging at her clothes.
"Percy, how would you feel when I die?", Annabeth asked. Percy's jaw slackened. He gripped the grass tightly.
"Incomplete. Not whole. I wouldn't be able to live without you, why'd you ask?", Percy whispered. Annabeth's eyebrows crumpled.
"I asked because I knew i would feel the same way", Annabeth replied. Her voice would thick.
"I would hate it if you died", Percy murmured. Tears sparkled in his sea green eyes.
"I know. I would hate it if you died", Annabeth agreed. Tears streamed down her face. Percy smiled at her.
"It's like... Your the force that keeps me attached to this world", Percy whispered into Annabeth's ear.
"Really?"
"Yes, really" by now there foreheads were touching. They kissed passionately. The second they pulled back Annabeth murmured,
"I love you" and Percy responded,
"I love you too" they kissed longer now. And when they pulled away Annabeth whispered,
"It's like your a half and I'm a half, but together we're a whole"
So under that tree was Percy and Annabeth. In love. ?
