Ok so basically this story is kinda like Hades's redemption since the whole Minthe problemo. Remember that throughout the story Penelope, the future version of Persephone, will have flashbacks of Persephone's lifetime to help her. The enemy is Miranda, obviously the future version of Minthe. All add the details in next chap.

Soooo on with the story…

Persephone, goddess of the spring, known for her unique personality and choice, made her dauntless way to the entrance of Hades's dark little castle in the middle of the crossroad, otherwise known as the Plain of Judgment. Behind her Cerberus ran, and skipped, and rolled all over her feet. She shushed the joyed animal and peeked behind the corner of the corridor.

At first, Persephone thought her mind was broken, tiered, or even hallucinating. Anything, she thought, just not this, please.

Through Persephone's eyes she saw Hades…and Minthe…in his lap.

Her heart burned and she felt cold, as if all the happiness she had experienced last year had been suddenly snatched back. Cerberus ran in front, to shield her of his master's disgrace, and growled at the couple on the throne. Hades turned his head and gasped. He marched over to her. Persephone didn't look at him, but instead took a few steps of her own towards Minthe, who was sprawled on the floor after Hades had shoved her away. The nymph narrowed her malicious green eyes at her and looked her up and down. Persephone bent down to her and stared her deep in the eyes with her own golden ones.

" You are like the plant of your namesake. Did you know that mint plants themselves don't need much soil to grow. Mint plants grow in the shallowest of places. Not disciplined by the water or sun. It is sad how at the end it grows into the smallest of plants, its leaves are weak and chewed on by children for entertainment." she said softly, her voice betraying not one ounce of the pathetic feeling inside her.

But slowly with her mind she was pulverizing Minthe with all the anger she felt.

Courage, her thought was directed at the naiad's feet. Roots began growing on the them.

Compassion, she aimed for Minthe's merciless heart. A tree grew from the ground and one of the longest branches pierced her through the heart.

Cooperative, she used all of her power to send a blast at Minthe's head. A long vine stretched out of the earth and wrapped around her neck.

Persephone turned around, but still heard the sickening crunch of a neck being snapped. She, herself, had seen her mother do the exact spell to someone, a sneaky ally of Zeus. All you had to do was name the missing character traits of a person and leave it to the Earth to decided the persons fate. She felt Hades come behind her and try to wrap his arms around her. She dodged his outstretched muscular arm and sat on the steps.

"Why are men so unfaithful!" she growled. Zeus, her own father, was known for the number of women he had affairs with. Her mother had been one of many. But now, having Hades be unfaithful towards her? Now that hurt. Any of the trust she had in Hades was demolished. She stood up with less dignity, spat in his direction, and ran away before he could grab her. Persephone's vision blurred iridescent as she fell into the River Styx.

Penelope Proserpina awoke and bolted up in bed, sweating in panic. What the hell was that? She thought.
