air.
He can get anything he wants in the world.
He can get anything in the world.
Anything.
Or so he thought.
"Mukahi. What's one thing you can't buy with money?" Atobe asked in a bet-you-can't-answer-it-logically tone. He narrowed his eyes at the red haired aerobic boy, who was busy dawdling in the summer sun, squatting, watching as ants passed by.
"Uhh. . . Air?"
Atobe scoffed.
"Tch." He shook his head, and walked away, singling out on to Oshitari.
"Ne, Oshitari. What's one thing you can't buy with money?" Atobe asked, hoping the all-rounder would know something. Don't people with glasses are technically smart? Maybe he's been watching too much.
Oshitari pushed up his ( non-prescripted ) glasses up with his middle finger, then looked at him.
"People. But, technically, you can. . . Nevermind. Air. You definetely can't buy that."
Atobe stared incredulously at him. Why was it that? What was so special about air?
What made it so special that you can't buy it?
One after one ( not counting Kabaji and Jirou ), they each answered him with the answer
"Air".
He gave up, and decided that was the only thing he could not buy.
Then again, he could, perhaps, try. . . Couldn't he?
But who owned air?
And. . . People do so many things to air, so he can't possibly buy it.
If only he owned it, does that mean only he gets to breathe and everyone dies because of the lack of air?
Or does it mean that he has to share it with everyone?
But, that means he wouldn't own it.
Well, he would, but then he doesn't get to do anything, and it's his.
Hold on! If everyone needs it and he owns it, does that mean everyone else does too?
Or does it just mean that he can just keep it to himself?
Is air even an object?
And how could he keep it to himself?
And, if he took the air away, what would happen?
But, would buying it mean that he's taking it away?
His head began to hurt.
Waitwaitwaitwaitwait.
If he can't buy it, there is something in this world that is un-buyable!
Unless, you get air in a bottle!
He slapped his fist onto his palm, and exclaimed "I GOT IT!"
He was grinning, then walked up to Oshitari, the nearest person to him.
"You can buy air! In a bottle, s--" Atobe was cut off.
"You know, you can do that yourself. And, isn't it a waste?"
Atobe stopped. What? No way.
And, now. . .
. . . He decided to go to something bigger.
Maybe he could buy--
"No, Atobe. You can't buy the world, either."
Just a quickie I decided to do after getting bored.
Really. . . Horrible, but you can't blame me. My brain isn't that functional.
No, I don't own Prince of Tennis ( sadly. or. . . is it? o3o ).
