I couldn't resist Mr Plot Bunny

One shot about Mrs Jones. Yes I know another fic. Don't get used to it though, I'm back in school now and seriously need to knuckle down.

Mrs. Jones always detested that man. Always.

But it turned into pure hatred once he started using that poor boy Alex.

It took every peppermint she could get her hands on to keep her face masked and her emotions intact.

Alan Blunt.

Just hearing the name made her fist curl into a ball, her teeth grind and have her hand reach for the nearest peppermint.

He was now explaining to Alex his latest mission. This would be most likely his hardest mission yet.

And the chances for him coming back where low, very low.

"I don't want to do it" said Alex. But his cries where fruitless.

"How is Jack? There is a lot of people depending on this too"

Alex nodded and hung his head low. That line always got him.

Alan Blunt knew how to use him. He pulled his strings as though he were a puppet.

Oh how she would like to give him a dose of his own medicine.

"I probably wont be coming back" said Alex. It wasn't a question but a statement.

"You had better , I need someone for these kind of missions."

He didn't care for the boy, just for what he was worth.

It was then that something changed in Mrs Jones. A small yet big change.

She raised her hand and gave him one hard slap across his face.

It felt good. She should do it more often.

After the hand had connected with his face, she didn't know which of the three people in the room was more shocked.

For her first time since she met that dreaded man she saw him unable to think of what to do.

"I-I y-you" he stuttered out

Alex could only stare .

"I … em….. Know that I think of it, there is this new man who…. Who em, needs a new assignment"

For the first time in his life he looked to Mrs Jones for her opinion.

She gave a small nod and it was all that was needed.

Alex didn't hear from the pair for quite a while.

Mrs Jones put her hand in her pocket to take out a peppermint, but then she removed her hand with it empty.

She didn't want a peppermint any more.

She didn't need it.

I think this is my best written story/fic so far. What do you think?

Yes, I know I do seem to be doing a lot of short stories, but would you prefor nothing?

Actualy maybe I shouldn't ask that question some of you may prefer it that way…

Love and hate reviews are welcomed.
