"Maybe I'm just sick of your purblind attitude, hmm?" Sinistra mentioned as she took a seat in another of the tower rooms. She wrapped her shawl tighter around her shoulders. "You could at least pretend to be half as intelligent and intuitive as you really are."
Sybill looked up with pained eyes, sighed, and shook her head. "You don't understand, do you? Your own purblind view surprises me. This persona, this façade, is what keeps me here."
"As if Albus doesn't know."
"It only works because he does, sweets. He knows I am always in danger, though I know not why."
Sinistra blinked and watched her new interest, but had to look away suddenly when the other caught her eye. It was unfair to know something so important that the other could not know. And now, Sinistra began to understand.
Trelawny stood and walked to her companion, resting her arms lightly around the dark-haired female's neck. "I understand, Sinistra. Look at me."
The woman looked up. Sybill continued.
"I understand that I cannot know, and I prefer it that way. Please forgive me for exaggerating that lack of knowledge. It is what I must do in order to live. And now," she smiled slowly, "I have something special to live for."
