Note: Sorry I haven't written anything in awhile, high-school tends to take up a lot of time. That and the Trespasser DLC. So, I'm working through some pretty strong feels right now and this is a product of that process. I don't do poetry often, so I'm not sure if this is all that great but here it is. WARNING: CONTAINS MILD SPOILERS FOR TRESPASSER DLC IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED IT, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The Gentle Halla Weeps

The Dread Wolf sobs

They cry for each other

For what should

But could not be

The Gentle Halla Weeps

As The Dread Wolf leaves

So too, does the Dread Wolf grieve

But only after he is gone

Disappeared through the eluvian

The Dread Wolf Weeps

The Gentle Halla sobs

They cry for each other

For what should

But could not be

Where they should be together

They are simply alone

Where they should share laughter

There is only tears

Where they should comfort one another

There is naught but fear

The Gentle Halla Weeps

The Dread Wolf sobs

They cry for each other

For what should

But could not be

He is her Sa'lath

She is his Vhenan

She says to him

As he steps away

"Var lath vir suledin"

He says to her

Sorrow in his gaze

"I wish it could, vhenan"

The Dread Wolf Weeps

The Gentle Halla sobs

They cry for each other

For what should

But could not be

His parting words to her

As he strode toward

Where the mirror lay

"I will never forget you."

As her Dread Wolf left

He took her heart with him

And she couldn't help but cry,

"Ar lath ma for bellanaris, ma sa'lath"

The Gentle Halla Weeps

The Dread Wolf sobs

They cry for each other

For what should

But could not be

Note: The Inquisitor cannot actually say "Ar lath ma for bellanaris, ma sa'lath," in game.

Elvish Translations: Vhenan- my heart

Var lath vir Suledin- Our love will find a way to endure

Ma sa'lath-My one love

Ar lath ma for bellanaris- I will always love you. OR I love you for eternity. (I pieced that together, so it may or may not be accurate, especially the "for" but I think it is.)
