The Empty Room

"Life goes on, but I'm gone

Ginny rose from the bed, grabbing her robe from the end of the bed and wrapping it around her. As she walked to the window, she felt the cool winter breeze coming in through the curtains. Shivering, her hands pulled open the curtains to close the window when she heard a voice from behind her.
"Leave it open," the voice was almost in a whisper, and Ginny was no longer shivering from the wind, but his voice.
She gave a curt nod, and then lowered her hands. Suddenly she felt warmth come from behind her, and felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her waist. The man behind her pressed a soft kiss to her bare shoulders, lingering longer than did in the past. Her heart began to constrict, this moment was already harder than it was supposed to be, and she would not be able to handle tenderness and affection coming from him. The silence that rested between them seemed to stretch for hours. The pair held onto each other, knowing the future that lay before them. The separate futures that lay before them.
"I love you," he whispered hoarsely.
Ginny released a breath she didn't know she was holding. Trying to keep the tears at bay, she took a deep breath, and slowly turned around. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes, and couldn't say it back. Instead, she brushed past him, slowly picking up her clothing as she went. As she made her way around the room, she looked back at him, but his gaze was still fixed on the window in front of him. She put on her clothes and made her way to the door. As she turned to give him one last glance, she saw the hard, sharp angles of his face, his lips straight all features showing no emotion. He never looked so beautiful to her. Quickly, she looked away, and grabbed her wand on the table near the door. She opened the door, and walked out, not giving the man another glance.
It wasn't till the man heard the door click, that Draco Malfoy turned around to find an empty room, and Ginny Weasley gone.
A/N: Okay! So here's a new fic! I know this is more of like a drabble, but I couldn't resist, and sorry about the other fic. But I def. think that's on a very long break. So while you're waiting for that, take a swig o' this! Don't know yet if I am going to expand, I think it sits well on it's own, if I find the motivation, I might just continue it, but we'll see!
