"Unknown Daughter"
SPOILER WARNING! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
AN: So you know how in the Magisterium series there is a master named Master Tanaka and in Percy Jackson there is the infamous Drew Tanaka. That's all I need to say. Set after Copper Gauntlet. In Call's POV.
AN: I don't own Magisterium or Percy Jackson.
As Call walked back to the Refectory, he was thinking of Warren and Celia. Warren's ominous message, "The end is closer than you think, Makar." was giving him the chills. Was Warren the spy Master Rufus was talking about? The elemental was suspicious enough to be. Celia's kiss was also mind-boggling. She was nice and pretty, but would she hate him if she knew about him having Constantine Madden's soul? Would my first kiss, a very nice kiss, be wasted because she doesn't know that I'm the guy who killed many people including her great-grandma? My life is messed up.
The buzz of people got louder as he got closer to the Refectory. Aaron and Tamara ran up to him as he entered. He looked up to the Master's table and saw Master Rufus talking to the other masters. One master was missing.
"Where's Master Tanaka?" he questioned.
"He told Master Rufus something and left." Tamara answered.
"Why do you think he left?" Call questioned again.
"I don't know besides give it a rest for now. He'll be back sooner or later. Besides have fun. This moment will probably never happen again." Aaron answered this time instead of Tamara.
Tamara glanced around, "Look, Master Tanaka came back with someone."
Call and Aaron glanced at the Master's table. Tamara was right, someone did arrive with Master Tanaka. Was that a teenage girl? It was a silver year. She was wearing the standard white uniform that he saw Kimiya and Alex wear. She had the same facial structure as Master Tanaka. Maybe his daughter?
Master Tanaka said something and the mysterious girl said something after him. Master Rufus smiled his short smile and embraced the girl.
"Did Master Rufus just hug her?" Aaron questioned in a state of shock. Master Rufus never showed signs of lovey-dovey emotions. It was quite shocking. Master Rufus stood atop the Master's table and clapped his hands to silence everyone.
In his normally deep voice he said, "I would like to welcome back an old student of mine that had to leave the Magisterium do to family problems. Please welcome Drew Tanaka back to the Magisterium. That would be all, thank you."
Aaron, Tamara, and I looked at each other in shock. Master Rufus had another apprentice besides Alex? Why didn't we know about her? Cheers rose up from all of the older students. Apparently, Drew Tanaka was popular among the older years. Drew walked through the crowd greeting some people and embracing others. Call could see Kimiya push through the crowd and tackle Drew in a big bear hug. Alex followed soon after and hugged her too, but not as dramatic as Kimiya's. Kimiya dragged Drew towards us.
"Tamara, Aaron, Call, this is Drew. She is my best friend here at the Magsiterium besides Alex." Kimiya said excitedly.
"I'm pretty sure you and Alex have something more going on than best friends." Drew turned toward us, winked than dragged Kimiya towards Alex who was talking to a boy I've seen in the Gallery.
"Did Drew just say what I think she say?" Tamara had a surprised look on her face.
"Didn't Alex and Kimiya break-up?" Aaron questioned.
"I guess not, besides it's a nice perspective. There's finally someone who doesn't care about other people's words. She spits out the truth. I like her." Call said turning to face Aaron and Tamara.
They started to walk to where Jasper and Gwenda were talking.
"Hey Call."
"Yeah."
"What was up with you and Celia earlier?"
Aaron burst out laughing as the blush on Call's face started to crawl up his neck.
