Felicity wasn't sure what to say. Should she assure Laurel that Oliver loved Laurel, not Felicity? But then what would Slade do to Laurel? Should she continue her deception, but then Laurel might die thinking Oliver didn't love her.
.
Felicity: This probably isn't what you expected to hear.
Laurel: No. This is definitely not how I expected to hear you and Oliver are together.
Felicity: He told me once that, because of the life he leads, he couldn't be with someone he really cares about. I always figured that's why you two never got back together.
Laurel: He and I are long past the time we could've been a good couple. For his sake, I'm glad he's moving on with you. Took him long enough.
Felicity: What do you mean?
Laurel: Felicity I see how you look at each other. Even Slade isn't completely suprised. If we get out of this, I truley wish you both the best.
.
Felicity thoought about this. When Oliver said he loved her, she assumed that was an act. Just part of the plan to stop Slade and save the city. Now she wondered, was it really all an act?
