This is a poem for Hollyleaf. WARNING: If you have not finished Sunrise, DO NOT read!!!! It has spoilers.
I don't own warriors.
You were special in your own way,
No powers needed
But the revelation of your mother
Drove you into a fever
Desperate to save you,
Trying their best
You made your brothers pretty sad.
Half-Clans not bad
It's actually quite fine
With the spirit of WindClan
And the heart of ThunderClan
You would make any Clan proud.
The Warrior Code's not everything
Nothing, in fact,
Next to the power of StarClan,
But you didn't get that.
Desperate to please
Wanting perfection
But so far it seemed
Nothing was going right
So you decided to end it
Your confession at the Gathering;
The cause of Ashfur's death,
No one understood your twisted mind's depths.
Al l things happen for a reason
But your reason for death
Was so unnecessary, Hollyleaf,
Why'd you have to do it?
They would have forgiven you
And your honor would be regained
The prophecy was not meant for you either way.
Everything would have turned out all right
But I understand the stress
But why, Hollyleaf, why did you have to choose death?
You weren't al l alone
Others would understand
Had they had the chance, I'm sure they'd want to.
The Clan needed you,
So important yet young
Staring down from StarClan can't be all that fun.
They'll never forget your bright eyes
Or the sparkle of your laugh
And your kin who never said goodbye
Really want you to come back.
I'm not the best at poems, so feel free to bestow harsh criticism upon me (no flames!).
By the way, can cats laugh?
Review please!
