A/N: Yeah, I know that wasn't the most romantic title, but, I couldn't think of anything else * sweatdrop * So… I just thought Ring, Ring might be uhhh… satisfactory. Ok, Matt and Mimi are a couple in the beginning. Not that I mention anything much about it. MICHI! Oh yeah, for DarkStyle's contest.
"Ring, Ring... Ring, Ring!" The annoying phone rang as Tai pulled his pillow over his head. The irritating noise from the phone stopped for a second. Tai began to relax, then, "RING, RING... RING, RING!" Out of rage, Tai picked up the phone, ready to scream at the caller. "Hi Tai! This is Mimi." Her voice seemed very sorrowful, very sad, filled with melancholy. "Can you meet me at the west entrance of the park in around fifteen minuets?" Tai, having a very soft spot for Mimi had to say yes. "Sure Mimi, I'll be there."
Out here in the quiet of the night

"Thanks Tai," Mimi muttered softly as she hung up. Tai looked at the phone for a few seconds, before hanging up. He quickly changed out of his pajamas and dashed towards the park. When he got there Mimi was already sitting on a bench waiting patiently for him. Tai slowly approached and put his arm around Mimi. "So Mimi, what did you want to meet me here for?" Mimi's eyes were red. It looked like she had cried all night, for her hair was also very damp. "Mimi, what's wrong? What happened?" Mimi let out a loud moan as she hugged Tai and started to cry. "He, he, he was cheating me! Yesterday night I went to his apartment because he called me. When I got there, the door was open and when I walked inside, I saw him kissing another girl." Another fresh wave of tears poured into Tai's lap. "It was so horrible!" Mimi cried as the image returned to her mind. Tai put arms around Mimi and brought her into a warm embrace. "It's ok Mimi, it's gonna be ok," Tai whispered gently. As Tai held her, he felt a long forgotten crush returning to his heart. His love for Mimi had been so strong back then. When Matt and Mimi started going out, he dug a huge hole in his heart and buried his feelings in it. But the little pink-headed angel was too much for him to handle.
I practiced all the things that I could say

But all she saw was the constant steady glow of love, flowing into her soul and warming her heart. As she looked into his eyes, she remembered an old crush she once had on a cute leader of the digidestined. "Tai," she whispered. "I love you too."
