"Are we seriously going?" I asked, hopping in time with Alice, who was staring at me quizzically with Edward. They both nodded as the full Cullen family piled into the Jeep and Edward's Volvo.

Ice skating. Those two words sparked passion in me. Well, so did Edward Cullen, but that's not my point.

Back in Phoenix, I went to a rink and found that I loved the sport. It was something that I could not fall. The ice was where I kept perfect balance, no matter what. Sure, I sometimes fell trying to execute leaps, but everyone did that.

Jasper, Alice, Edward, and myself were riding in the Volvo when Jasper leaned back and closed his eyes.

"Bella, why are you so… so happy?" He questioned. Of course, the Cullens knew nothing of my ice skating past.

"No reason," And I kept to myself as I hugged my gym bag tightly. My old skates were in here, and I loved them to death.

Well, almost.

I laced up my skates and carefully took off my guards. Our family had reserved private ice time, so we were the only ones there. Edward stood by my, watching me with fascination.

"Bella, you don't have to worry, I won't let you fall." He grinned as he helped me up. I said nothing, but I did smile.

We glided out onto the ice, hand in hand, and watched the other couples skate to us.

"Ready, Bella?" Esme asked kindly, but Alice interrupted my answer.

"Bell-uh!" She squealed. "I want to see what you can do. Go spin, or something." Ah, so she had seen me practicing in front of them. Might as well get it over with, I thought.

I gained speed and then flipped so I was skating backward. I glanced behind myself, then dug my toe-pick in and completed a perfect triple lutz. I beamed as I slowed, my leg up in arabesque.

As I looked to the Cullen's, I almost laughed. Each one of their mouth's were gaping, even Alice's!

"Spin, Bella, spin!" Alice screamed; she obviously wanted to know the full extent of my abilities. I blushed and began gaining speed once more. I jumped in place suddenly, tightening my muscles and started to spin. I did a sit-spin for a couple of counts, then relaxed my body as I crawled up, turning faster and faster. I lifted my right arm up, stuck the left one out, and crossed my legs, the left behind the right. And then I stopped, placing my arms to my sides while scarlet colored my cheeks.

"That was wonderful!"

"Sweet!"

"How can you do that, you're Bella!" Similar comments rang out and I smiled weakly. I was proud I could still do that.
