Watching them together, it was just like watching your favourite movie gone wrong, this wasn't how it was meant to end, this wasn't how the story ended, the good guy gets the girl thats the happily ever after
Her smile, her laugh, the playful way she curls his hair in his fingers as he leans down to kiss her, it should be him, he hurt her and this was his payback, this was his punishment
He expected her to wait for him to be there, yet he'd turned around and she'd moved on, she was with Mark, he had fixed her, glued her back together after he had pushed her too far

He had apologised, he had tried to win her back but she had been adamant she had moved on, she was in love with Mark, it wasn't the fact it was Mark that had hurt so much but he way she had said it, the determination and the passion in her voice only made him feel his loss even more
He had lost the love of his life to a man he was sure was unworthy of her, of her love and when he broke her heart, he'd be there waiting to show her how right he was for her

As she sat with him and her friends, they were all laughing, celebrating it seemed
She looked happy, happier than he'd ever seen her, he wanted her back, he wanted her to look at him the way she did Mark, like he was the only one that mattered

He remembered telling her he couldn't breathe for her anymore, the hurt in her eyes as she'd watched him say it and now he needed her to breathe again properly, he understood her so much better now but he'd blew it, he'd lost her and as much as he needed her now she just didn't need him anymore
