The team was sitting down the conference room; Spencer told Hotch that he would run a few minutes late. As JJ started to brief them about the case and naming the victims, she looked up and Garcia's eyes widened.
"Well…hello" she said.
Everyone else looked up; they were completely stunned by what they saw.
Spencer Reid had his long hair cut into…well basically a boy's cut but still had an unkempt look.
Hotch was the first one to speak, "What did you join a boy band?"
Spencer froze, how in the hell did he know that three weeks ago he and a few of his friends formed a band called "The Smart Kids"?
Spencer looked around and saw they were all staring at his hair; he quickly answered "No…"
After the case and then another month later:
Spencer walked into the club that the band was going to perform in for the first time. The other boys were rehearsing when they all stopped to greet Spencer.
"Hey man, you finally done with work?"
"Yeah at least no new cases popped up" said Spencer as he put his bag down.
"Alright now we can rehearse…by the way Spencer, does your team know about this?"
"…No as far as I'm concerned."
After the performance:
"That was a great show guys the crowd went crazy" said Spencer with a big smile. As they left the club, Spencer saw his friends waiting for him, they all were smiling.
"I knew it" said Hotch with a chuckle.
