"Ryoma-kun... What'cha doing today?"

Rei poked her head inside of the room of Echizen Ryoma. She had been staying with the Echizen's for some time now and was becoming bored out of her mind. So, time to spend the day with her best-friend.

Well, friend, none the less.

The young boy was sitting on his bed reading a magazine when the girl had entered. He blinked in her direction and gave a shrug; continuing with his read.

Kurohi Rei frowned and asked, "Well, if you don't know... Um... Wanna hang out? Maybe catch a bite to eat and maybe a movie? Look around the shops? Go to the arcade? Or we could-"

"Are you trying to ask me out or something?"

The dark haired girl's eyes widen at the boy's response. "Ah, gomen nas'. I didn't mean for it to seem that way. I was just trying to suggest some things and I guess I got caught up and-"

"You're doing it again Rei."

"Eh, domo sumimasen gozaimasu."

Rei bowed her head as the golden-eyed boy looked up at her and sighed. He gently placed his tennis magazine down on his bed and walked over to the crimsoned-eyed girl. Ryoma lifted Rei's head up with his right index finger, making his counter-part blush, and stared deeply into her eyes.

Though she was trying her best to get out of the boy's gaze, the attempt prove fruitless. He was trying to find answers and she showed worry, guilt, and embarrassment. Echizen sighed, lowering his head. He lifted his head slightly, peering at the girl with one eye open.

"Well, what are you waiting for?"

"H-Huh?"

"Aren't we going out, Rei-chan?"

This had taken Kurohi be complete surprise, making her inwardly jump and become wide-eyed. 'Does he really mean it...?' The girl nodded quickly and left to her room to get ready for their day.

As the dark haired girl left the room entryway, Ryoma smirked and closed his room door; making his way to his closet. After a few minutes he pulled out a clean looking t-shirt, zip hoodie and a pair of pants.

"Well, let's get this day over with."

And as the Prince changed, a small smile formed on his lips. 'Heh, you'll owe me Rei-chan.'
