This is my first GenesisXCloud fic. I change the FF7 story around some. Enjoy!
Finding Peace
Sitting here underneath the tree reminds me of the good times back then when Sephiroth was still sane, and Zack, Angeal, and Genesis was still alive. But what I remember the most was Genesis touch, smell, and his most brilliant smile. But sadly that change when Sephiroth got to Nibelheim and met Jenova. Sephiroth went crazy and destroyed the town but Zack and I managed to throw him into the mako. Afterwards Hojo captured Zack and I. We were experimented on for five years when Angeal and Genesis managed to learn the truth and they manage to help us escape. Sadly the Shinra army was sent out to kill all four of us. Angeal and Genesis sacrificed themselves to save us.
We joined up with AVALANCHE to take down Shinra and Sephiroth. Along the way we made new friends and I lost two great friends. Sephiroth killed Zack and Aeris. When meteor was about ready to fall I killed Sephiroth and Aeris along with the planet stop meteor from falling.
The planet was safe for two years until Kadaj and his gang showed up for reunion. I had to stop Sephiroth for a third time. Somehow though Yazoo and Loz shot me then I attacked them. After I attack I got sent to the Lifestream.
"Mother?" Cloud asks.
"Again? Why is everybody calling me mother lately?" Aeris ask.
"I guess they must be fond of you." Zack said.
"This one is a little too big to adopt." Aeris said.
"Tough luck friend. Sounds like you don't have a place here." Zack said.
While I was thinking of the past it feels like someone is watching me. I look around and I didn't see anyone. When I stop looking I felt someone arms wrapped around me. I lean into the arms feeling safe.
"It actually feels… nice." Cloud decided.
Cloud was feeling so safe and secure that he fell asleep.
"Cloud. Cloud. Wake up Cloud." A voice said.
Cloud felt like he was floating. He opens his eyes then look around. All he saw was light. A bright soothing light. While he was looking around his eyes finally settled on Genesis. Genesis still looked the way he remembered. His hair was still that silky auburn hair and he still had those bright green. He was wearing that sexy red outfit of his.
"Genesis……… Is it really you?" Cloud asks in a whisper.
Cloud didn't know if this is a dream or reality.
"Yes Cloud. It is me. And this is no dream." Genesis said.
"It can't be. You're dead." Cloud said.
"Yes. I am dead but we are in the Lifestream." Genesis explained.
"But why am I here?" Cloud asks.
"You are here because Gaia wants you to have peace finally." Genesis said.
"You're sure?" Cloud asks almost afraid it's too good to be true.
"Yes it is kitten." Genesis said.
"Gen!" Cloud said as he jump up to hug Genesis.
"My little kitten. You're mine again." Genesis said as he hugs Cloud.
"Yes Gen. I'm yours." Cloud said.
Genesis leans down to kiss Cloud. As they kiss it felt like to both of them that it was their first kiss again. The kiss is sweet, shy, and true.
"SPIKEY!!!!!!!!" Zack yelled.
Zack and Angeal was trying to find Genesis when they came upon Genesis and Cloud kissing. The couple jumped when they heard Zack.
"Hey Zack. Hey Angeal." Cloud said.
"Hello Cloud. Genesis." Angeal said.
"Zack! I'm gonna kill you!!!!" Genesis yelled as he went after Zack. As Genesis was speaking Zack started to run.
"I'll see ya Cloud." Zack shouted.
"Don't hurt my puppy too much Genesis!" Angeal shouted.
Cloud and Angeal laughed while watching Genesis trying to get Zack.
