PROLOGUE
"Mr.Taisho" his PA's voice hesitant. "please excuse me for interrupting you but..'
red, displease eyes flashed up at her from the man seated behind the imposing mahogany desk. 'I said no interruptions Ayame, for any reason whatsoever.'
The deep accented voice was brusque. For a fraction of a second the forbidding gaze admonished her, then simply cut out of existence, returning to the papers on his desk.
In the door way. Ayame hesitated, then, visibly steeling herself spoke again. ' sir but…but she said the call was urgent…'
Inuyasha Taisho sat slowly back in his chair and lifted his eye to her.
"Ayame" he said and voice with its slight demon accent was soft, so soft it raised the hairs on his PA's neck. 'You may inform kikyo I have no intrest in her affairs with me or anyone else.'
He rested a killing gaze on her, his mouth whipped to a tight hard line showing his fangs, and then once again he returned to the papers on his desk.
His PA swallowed and cleared her throat "Mr. Taisho" she attempted a third time ' it isn't kikyo on the phone, it's a lady kaede, from Demonchild social services department, she says its very important,' she quickly adds, as Inuyasha stills and lifted his head again, his amber eyes leveled on her. "It's in connection, she says with a Kagome Higurashi."
For one long second the gaze leveled on her went completely blank, as though the name given was as unknown to him as it was to her. Then it was as if a mask closed over his face, his went red and purple lightening strikes appeared on his face. "tell Lady Kaede or who ever she is" he evicted, cutting each word out of the air as if he were vivisecting it with a scalped. "That I have no intrest wat so ever in Kagome Higurashi."
He picked up his gold pen and returned to his papers. "But Mr. Taisho." Ayame said with a final desperate urgency,
"Lady Kaede says it's about your son!."
And this she got a reaction. Inuyasha Taisho froze completely.
