AN: Zella love. I really like this one...

Gabriella stood in Home Ec. extremely bored. The teacher was running late and Zeke was working on his crème brulèe. He looked so adoreable, a look of concentration plastered on his face as beads of sweat glistened on his forehead.

Gaby smiled. "Need any help Zeke?" He shook his head no just as the teacher walked in.

"Sorry I'm late class." She said as she sat at her desk. "Today we need to break into pairs and bake our chocolate chunk cookies." She said as she leant back in her chair. Gaby turned to Zeke and smiled. Zeke smiled back.

"I'm glad you're my partner Zeke. Everyone knows you make the best cookies." Zeke blushed slightly.

"Thanks." When did Zeke get so cute? Gaby thought, smiling at him as he dumped all the ingredients into a mixing bowl. How could someone be good at two things that are so different? If the boy sold his cookies he'd be so rich but no, he doesn't want to make money from his hobby. He is beyond noble, and that means more cookies for us. Gaby thought laughing to herself.

"Need me to do anything Zeke? I'd feel totally guilty if you do all the work."

"Sure Gaby, you can break up the chocolate and put it into the bowl."

"Cool." Gaby said as she picked up the bar of cooking chocolate and started breaking off chunks, dumping them into the bowl as she watched as Zeke floured the baking tray. He had that same look of concentration on his face, like this was the most important thing in the world. She finished breaking the chocolate just as Zeke looked at her, grin wide on his perfect face. "Hey Z?"

"Yea Gabs?"

"You have a little flour on your face." She said pointing to his left cheek. She didn't want to tell him, because he looked totally adoreable with flour on his face, but she didn't want him going to basketball practice like that. His eyes widened slightly as he ran his thumb over his cheek, only making things worse. Gaby laughed.

"Let me get it." She said leaning in and wiping her thumb across his cheek. His skin was softer than she'd thought it'd be, and being so close she could see how brown his eyes were. So deep it was easy to get lost in them. That's where she was right now. Lost. She didn't notice him move until she felt his warm hand on hers. It was like it belonged there. Like she belonged in his gaze. The smiled on his face got wider before her leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. She kissed him back just as softly before pulling away, remembering that they were still in class. She smiled before pulling away and dumping the chocolate into the bowl with the other ingredients.

"We really should get back to baking." She said, glad her long hair covered her pink cheeks.

"Yea." Was all Zeke could manage to say, his lips slightly parted and red. He reached out for the mixing bowl but got Gabriella's hand instead. He blushed slightly, glad that his dark skin made it unnoticeable. He looked over at her and she got lost in his eyes again. He couldn't help the grin that graced his features when he saw Gabriella's pink cheeks and she smile. Suddenly feeling a surge of confidence, he thread their fingers together. He mixed the chocolate in with his free hand and put the finished cookie dough onto the baking sheet before sticking it in the oven. He grabbed Gaby's other hand and held it as he looked into her eyes.

"So, do you have any plans for tomorrow night?" She smiled up at him and stepped closer.

"I do now."
