My friend swimmerreader and I had an assignment to re-write the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet from another perspective. So we wrote it with Percy and Annabeth This is set before they get together. Please read and review, thanks!
Disclamier: I don't own Percy Jackson or Romeo and Juliet
Percy: Look! Annabeth's light is on, what could she be doing up?
He walks to her cabin and stands next to the window where Annabeth is inside sitting on her bunk
Her eyes tonight shine like the eyes of Andromeda glistening in the night sky. Her princess hair shines like the sunitself as she concentrates on her work. The beautiful daughter of Athena rests her hand in her hair. Oh how I want to hold that hand and touch that hair
Annabeth: That stupid seaweed brain, why do you have to be the son of Poseidon. Forget your father, or I will forget my mother.
Percy: (to himself): I would gladly forget our parents feud to be with you
Annabeth: Poseidon is just a name and Poseidon's son is just a title, why should it matter what our titles are?
Percy opens the window to speak to Annabeth
Percy: Annabeth! I don't care who my father is and I don't care about our parent's feud. I love you Wise Girl, though Hades and back I love you.
Annabeth: Percy what are you doing here!
Percy: I'm here because I love you Annabeth, and I want to be with you through the good the bad and the ugly. Run away with me Wise Girl!
Annabeth: Percy. I love you too but you're an idiot! We can't just leave everyone in this situation! They need us!
Percy: They can get along just fine without us but we need to be together. Please, let's run away together. Meet me at Thalia's tree at dawn.
Annabeth: I still you're an idiot but you're my idiot. Even though one of us will probably be incinerated by each other's parents, I'll see you at dawn.
THE END
Please let me know what you think! (:
