Lord I Turn To You
At times my soul is burdened
I am plagued with doubt, unease
And Lord You seem so far away...
Why has night so swallowed day?
But You calmed the angry groanings
Of raging stormy seas
And Lord I know that You will listen
To Your weary childrens pleas
So when my heart is heavy
When my world turns dark and blue
When my loneliness overwhelmes me,
Lord I turn to You.
For I know that You love us
So I will trust in Your will,
Then my heart will ache no longer
At last my restless soul is still.
