I awoke reaching for the warm body that fell asleep beside me but I didn't find it. My fingers enclosed around a letter addressed to me. I stretched as I began to read it.
Dear Katniss,
I'm sorry but I cannot stay in district 12 there are just too many memories in this place for me to be able to function. I love you with all of my heart and it is tearing me apart inside to be apart from you but I couldn't ask you to leave your family your mom needs you more than I do. I'm sorry that I'm not there. As the last word registered in my brain I broke down. Every wall and barrier that I had ever built crumbled around me while the tears poured out of my eyes never stopping until I was left gasping for breath. I closed my eyes praying and begging for this nightmare to end but it never did. I couldn't function without him. My life was nothing without him. I finally realized what Gale meant when he said I would choose the guy I couldn't live without. I quickly decided to get my man back. I ran throughout the district asking everyone if they had seen Peeta all said he was at the train station. I quickly found him as he was boarding a train. I followed him into one of the carts and locked the door. "You thought you could leave me" I whispered into his ear. "No" he answered "I knew you'd follow me but I couldn't ask you to leave". Our eyes met and I noticed that there were in his they drew me in and trapped me in them swimming in the depths of blue until I drowned. There was so much love in the room it radiated off every surface. My fear was replaced with relief and that with lust. Our lips met in a fiery passion. Everything melted away nothing mattered except the other. He was my strength and I was wiling to give him my all my heart, my soul, and my body. I couldn't live without him.
