Chapter One: The Introduction

When I woke up, I was in a blush-pink and pale-blue canopy bed. I sit straight up and I took a deep breath in. It smelled strangely like fresh bacon. I stand up and I open my bedroom door, as if my body knows this place. I don't remember it. I just have this strange feeling I everything about it. I have no idea what I am doing here. Maybe I live here.

Hi, my name is Tris Evergreen. I am freshly 18 years old. I turned 18 yesterday. I am a trainee for a battle agency, a secret organization. It is called S.A.F.S.P.O. Special Agency For Secret People Only. I didn't come up with the name, my father did. I was only raised into the family business… I was raised into the art of fighting and war. I am trained to be a spy, go undercover and kill people or send them away for the greater good.

I open the bedroom doors and then I walk down the stairs to see my mom and my maid, Patricia, making breakfast. And sure enough, it is bacon, eggs, fruits, and strawberry-Nutella crepes. Those are my favorite. However, that STILL doesn't explain why I woke up in this random house… I wasn't aware of us moving or anything so I am clueless as to why I am here in this random house. I walk down the stairs and they spot me. "Darling, Good morning!", my mom says.

"What are we doing in this random house?", I answer.

"We've moved into this house now. I moved our stuff all night and we moved you while you were sleeping.", my mom replied. I looked around this beautiful house. The walls were all covered in white or light blush-pink or light yellow paint. It was gorgeous! It had mostly marble tile or hardwood flooring and It felt very clean. I stepped down the stairs and just now realized that the stairs were made of marble tile and a silver metal handrail. I walk to the bottom step and see the whole first floor. When I saw the entire first floor the first thing I remember is 'Where is my dad!?' I ask my mother and she says he is at S.A.F.S.P.O. but I can tell she is lying to me. I walk to the living area and I look around. "Don't you want some food, Tris?", Patricia asks me with a sweet simple smile on her face. I nod. She leads me into the dining room where there is a cute wooden table at the center, below a crystal chandelier. I sit down. My mother and Patricia bring in and set it on the table. I look at the banquet of food prepared and my jaw drops. I say thank you maybe 1,000 times and we say a prayer and dig in. My family has always been religious. We are Christians and we are proud of it. We were eating bacon crisps, fried eggs, Nutella and strawberry crepes, and strudels. I took 3 crepes out of 10 and 2 slices of bacon. I had one egg and 1 strudel, also. I was chit chatting with my mom when she said, "I can't hold this back any longer than I have to! I think you should go work for your dad's company, Tristan. I think you should be a spy."

"MOM! We already talked about this and I said I didn't want to! YOU, of ALL people, should know THAT!", I replied.

"I know but think of ALL the possibilities there. You could even meet a possible husband…"

"MOM! I don't WANT A HUSBAND! I want a childhood! Don't make me."

"Why NOT? You get paid 50 dollars an hour and you get to be a spy…"

"And RISK my LIFE!"

"Just think about it… PATRICIA! Get these dishes please, ma'am."

"Yes Ma'Lady", Patricia answered to my mom with w sweet smile. I feel bad for her… She has been with us since I can remember. She isn't much older than me. About 4 years, actually. I throw my napkin on my plate and I stomp upstairs. I crawl back into this strange bed and think about the decision. I might do it. I think it would be okay, plus I get paid… But what about all the training time and everything else. It is hard! But yet again…

It just kept going on and on and on like that until I fell asleep again. When I woke up again it had been about 1 hour. The alarm clock on the wall said 9:49 a.m. Maybe I COULD work there. I kind of want to but it could put my life in danger. But, that is a risk I am willing to take. I went down to talk to my mom and she was already sitting with my father. He came home early for this. I can tell it isn't something good…

"Come and sit down darling. We have something to say.", my mother mumbles. My father is upset about something I can tell. "Okay, Mom.", I reply

"I think your father would like to tell you."

My father starts speaking to me. "Tris, I have never been one to make you do anything you don't want to do but, Tristan… I am MAKING you work at S.A.F.S.P.O. I am so tired of you not -" I cut him off. "I want to.", I say quietly.

"You what!?", he whispered

"I. Want. To"

"You DO!? That is great news, Tris!"

"I know. When do I start, Boss?", I say with a smirk. I have a feeling it will get easier from here. He smiles and says, "You start tomorrow morning. Your mother and I will give you $1,000 to buy whatever clothes or objects you might want/need for training. We will head out after lunch. Your mom will take you."

After that conversation, my father went back to work and my mother and I went to Chick-fil-A for lunch, where I got crispy nuggets and a frosted lemonade. I went to these fine stores: Target, Victoria Secret PINK, and Academy. I got so many yoga pants a sports tops, yoga mats, and Nike tennis shoes. My mom drove me home and I unpacked my clothes and everything and I went to take a shower and go to bed. I never thought about this before but I like the thought of being a SPY! Goodnight

Chapter 2: The Beginning

I woke up to an alarm. The clock on my iPhone XR said 5:23 a.m. I got up, took a shower, brushed my teeth, and braided my hair into 2 dutch braids. I am SUCH a good braider. I love my hair. I put my 2 earrings into my left ear, then 2 into my right. I put on my clothes grabbed my phone. And left. I headed down the stairs and into the dining room where my mom served me breakfast. Crepes again. This time with strawberries, blueberries, and whip cream with chocolate chips. I ate 3 of the giant crepes. I drank a vanilla bean frappuccino from Starbuck's. I love those, and pink drinks. I cleaned up and I left the table.

I walked to the garage and hopped into my car, a white and black matte Range Rover...I drove to my dad's building and stepped out. I walked up to the building's front door. I gave it a gentle push and stepped inside. A rush of wind passed by me. I took a deep breath. It smelled like fresh linen...Clean laundry. Very refreshing. I first spotted a nice looking woman in a suit, she had a wide bottom with a smaller waist and a bigger chest. She looked up from the breakfast table where biscuits, sausage gravy, french toast, parfaits, and
