Ok, just seen the pilot of QI where Our Lord Who Art Stephen Fry revealed that Excalibur was originally named Caliburn… I couldn't resist xD

There was silence in the hall as the royal court contemplated the name, some finding it pleasing, some not. Few noticed the expression of dismay on the former servant's (now high advisor and court sorcerer) face.
And even fewer heard him mutter "They're going to have to change that one for the books" as he turned away to have a quiet word with Geoffrey of Monmouth.
Oh and seeing as my last fic got the worst response I've had in months I'm going to shamelessly self-advertise it here, it's called The First Signs and is actually quite funny (not that I'm biased or anything) please read it :-)
