Hey guys! I wrote a oneshot a little while ago about Sam and Freddie giving their baby up for adoption and I decided to do a prologue sort of thing. I hope you enjoyyy

Freddie was sitting on his bed, tapping his foot nervously waiting for Sam to come back with the pregnancy test.

The two 19 year olds bought it earlier today in high hopes of it coming back negative.

As Freddie was sitting there, he was thinking about all the possibilities. If Sam wasn't pregnant, it would be the biggest relief. For both of them. They could move on with their lives and wait until they were ready. But if Sam was pregnant, he truly didn't know what they'd do. Sam decided not to go to college, but he did. He was doing really great in school and had an internship at the Pear Company headquarters of Seattle. He had his own apartment that Sam just recently moved into. They had their lives in order.

At least for now.

Freddie was snapped out of his thoughts when Sam opened the bathroom door with the pregnancy test in her hand. Freddie shot up and looked at her.

"Well?" he asked.

Sam held up the test. "We have to wait three minutes," she told him sitting on his bed.

Freddie nodded in understanding and sat next to her. He grabbed her hand when he noticed her foot tapping like his was earlier. She looked at him and gave him a small smile before leaning her head on his shoulder.

"I-I'm scared, Freddie. What if it's positive?"

"I am too, baby. But it-it could still be negative." Sam nodded against his shoulder as they both became quiet.

When the alarm on Sam's phone went off, her and Freddie looked at each other. She let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding and Freddie squeezed her hand.

She turned over the pregnancy test and saw two red lines.

"It's two red lines!" Sam said, excitedly.

"Two white lines!" Freddie said happily and pulling her into a tight hug. When they pulled apart, Sam's smile soon faded when she looked at the box the test came in.

"Wait. Freddie, two white lines means…I'm pregnant," she told him, tears quickly forming.

Freddie's happy expression turned into shock. "Wh-what?" She shoved the box into his hands and he read it.

He took the test from her hand and started shaking it. "No. No, no, no, no," he said while shaking the test like a thermometer, hoping it was a false positive.

He quickly stooped when he looked up at Sam. He never ever saw her look so sad. She was standing with her arms crossed, looking down, trying to wipe the tears away that were falling faster each time.

He quickly dropped the test and pulled her close to him. As soon as his arms were around her, she broke down into his shoulder, tightening her grip on him. After a few minutes, she pulled back and looked at him, still sniffling. He wiped a stray tear away on her cheek and gave her a sad smile.

"What are we gonna do, Freddie? This is real. This-this is actually happening. You're in school, and you have that incredible internship and I'm starting my new job at that new Mexican restaraunt next month and-" "We-we'll get through it, Sam. We will," he cut her off, unsure himself.

Sam put her head back on his shoulder and questioned if it really would be okay.

How was it? I hope you guys liked it! Please review :)
