Author's Notes: Another Sora and Kairi story, really? No wai! Wait... yes wai! :D
Anyways, i've got these things and they have these cute little saying, so i'm doing a handful of stories based off of them. Let's see, a good majority is going to be this pairing, but one of them is of Seifer and Olette, because I like them. A lot. Noa go write 'em! xD

DISCLAIMER: I OWN NOTHING IN THIS, EXCEPT THE IDEA, well, sort of.

And don't forget to review, my lovelies.

Laughter ringing out in the abandoned area, multiple adolescent children dashed around in anticipation. They were all participating in their daily ritual of games and today was voted to be tag in favor of Sora and Riku. Everyone was for it anyways, but Kairi wasn't such a big fan with always being the tagged right off the bat by none other than Sora, who always just had to be it.

Today was no exception.

Kairi was wandering around the palm trees that towered over her, holding on to the ends of her dress while glancing around. She had to constantly keep an eye out for anyone out to tag her and quite frankly, she'd rather not have to do all that running around.

With a shrilling call filling the air and a hand coming down on her, well, more like an entire body, the familiar voice known as Sora cried out in pride, "Ha! You're it now, Kairi!"

Groaning in frustration, the redheaded girl pouted and pushed the boy off of her and replied, "Why are you always picking on me?"

Rubbing his cheek timidly, the boy with big, blue eyes flushed pink and retorted, "I'll tell you one day, 'kay? Right now, you're it!"

With that, he leapt to his feet and stumbled a bit before racing for the area deemed the safe place where you can't be tagged anymore. Watching him go, Kairi shook her head and stood, brushing off her dress.

Hand placed over each other's, the couple sat leisurely on the sandy beach, watching intently as the sun sunk lower in to the sky and towards the sea of a horizon. Lately, it'd become a ritual they performed everyday, just sitting there and chatting idly until they were encased by darkness.

Brushing a stray piece of hair out of her face, Kairi took a deep breathe before asking, "You know, I was thinking about when we'd play tag as kids. You never told me why you always picked me, so why did you?"

Sparing a glance her way, a goofy grin appeared on Sora's matured face and he said, "Well, you see… you've always been it to me."

"That was cheesy," Kairi laughed easily, a grin of her own forming on her cherry lips.

"At least it's true," He remarked.

"Mhmm."
