After a long day and the end of a tiring case, it was finally their weekend off. Rick wanted to go home to spend time with Alexis.

However, no sooner had he set foot in the door did his phone ring.

"Castle."

"Hey bro," said Esposito on the other end, "Want to go to the new club that opened last week?"

"I don't know. I just want to catch up on sleep and…"

"Let me get this straight the normally hyper nine year child wants to rest?" asked Esposito and Castle could hear Ryan snicker.

Esposito managed to persuade Rick to go with him and Ryan to the new club in town.

At 7:30 on the dot Rick was outside when Esposito and Ryan picked him up.

When the three got to the club, it was already filled to up with a lot of patrons. Only problem was that Rick was still not happy. That was until someone caught his eye. That someone was a certain detective that he shadowed.

He noticed that Kate was there with Lanie. Only this time Kate was not in her usual work clothes but wearing something more alluring; she had on a red spaghetti form fitting dress and who was literally busting out moves he never knew that she had and became entranced and his brain had become all mush and that look didn't go unnoticed by the two guys who dragged him here.

As she danced her heart out, she was gaining a lot of attention from all the guys. On the other hand, when Kate saw Rick he became the only guy on her radar.

She made her way from the dance floor over to where Rick was sitting with Esposito and Ryan and pulled him on to the dance floor. Rick who was stunned that Kate would instantly pull him towards the dance floor without asking but eased into dancing with her.
