AN: Yes, I'm back. I left Full Metal Rage to simmer down, as I checked over it and realized it wasn't the best thing I've written, even if I wrote it with Omara (plus, during the first chaper, you could see /qu's everywhere.).

So, after making a roleplay on Gaiaonline, I decided to actually write a Zelda Fanfiction. So, here goes nothing!

The Legend of Zelda:

Heroes of Time

Chapter One

Summary: After the Hero of Time disappears from Hyrule for what seems forever, Ganon's followers plan his escape. One hundred years later (right before the time Majora's Mask takes place) in the future Hyrule, a new Link steps up to embrace his destiny.

"Am I the only one who can see it?" Ryu asked the council. The young (he had only lived seventeen years on this life) Shiekan had seen something over the Hyrule castle. The Shiekan lord looked down on him, "See what?"

The boy had come unpredictably, almost yelling in his face about some black cloud over the castle. This one was a trouble maker, and at that fact, the Elder had reason not to believe the boy. The boy spoke up again, "I've read the legends. A same darkness spread across the lands one hundred years ago! I think Ganon might be resurrected!"

The Elder raised an eyebrow, "Ganon? He was defeated one hu-"

"I know the story. And, if you read the legend closely enough, he was too powerful to kill. He was sealed in the Temple of Time!"

"The Seal won't break that easily. The Sages put it there them-"

"And have been kept by Hylians!" Ryu noted. He paced something Shiekans didn't usually do unless they were under a great deal of stress, "The Hylians have gotten lazy! The seal has been weakening!"

"Can you prove that?"

Ryu nodded, "Yes! The proof is… is…" He looked upwards, towards the grey stone of the Sanctum.

"You don't have proof."

"No…. But I could find some!" Ryu looked down, "I can find the Hero of Time! I can-"

"No."

"Then consider this, heresy!" The boy ran off.

The Elder couldn't help but smile, "He won't make it past the guards." He saw a bright flash, and the Elder stood up, "Hmm?"

The Boy had escaped.
