"Bye." Adam hung up and fell head first onto his bed. He felt overwhelmed and oddly depressed. Was it because he had lied to Nick? No. Adam was sure his friendship with Nick was slowly fading... Maybe his depression was acting up, maybe he needed to up his dose in pills again. "I'm just tired that's all," Adam reassured himself. He turned his bedroom light off and locked the door. He was asleep in a matter of minutes.

Adam was in such an amazingly beautiful forest he couldn't help but to gaze around in awe. The sun would woould be setting in a few minutes, he observed. Though Adam was in an unfamiliar place, he felt a strange connection to it. His subconsious urged him to walk forward to an unknown destination. Adam trudged through the thick undergrowth until he came across a clearing. As he pushed his way out of the last few bushes, he saw a figure approaching him. Adam squinted as he tried to identify the figure. From the body build it looked like a very thin man. Or perhaps it was a woman? "No" thought Adam. He gasped as he realized who it was. "Ian!" Adam yelled happily and ran towards him. He stopped in the middle of his tracks. Why did he suddenly run towards Ian? He realized he did it naturally, like it was an instinct. By the time Adam was done contemplating Ian had already reached him. "H-hi," Adam stuttered nervously though he was full of joy despite himself. Ian smiled, his eyes burning into Adam's. Ian placed his palm in front of Adam. At first Adam thought Ian was asking for a high five, but then realized he was offering Adam his hand to hold. He hesitated at first, but then place his hand in Ian's palm. Ian tightened his fingers on Adam's hand and at that moment he felt a burst of warmth of warmth and energy surge through his veins. He was speechless for the first time in his life. Ian took a step back and pulled Adam along with him. " Where are we going." Adam asked. It was a worthless question, it had no meaning. He didn't care where he was going, as long as he was with Ian. "To some place where there are no judging eyes, to a place where time seems to not exist." Adam walked beside Ian until a faint light gleamed ahead. As they walked closer the light began to blind him. Adam felt Ian's warm hand gently squeeze Adam's to reassure him. Adam only tightened his grip in response. The pair stepped into the light, engulfed by a sea of white. Adam felt Ian's arm wrapping around his waist , and then his sweet breath on his face. "You lied," Ian whispered in his ear, " but that's okay, because I still--" Ian's voice broke off at the sound of a crash.

Adam's door shook violently from the fists rapidly punching it on the opposite side. "Adam!!" he heard his mother's shrill voice yell. Adam opened his eyes. "Back to hell."
