Sharpay was actually scared for once in her life. High school was over and she and Ryan were getting ready to go off to Julliard. She should be excited, a whole new world was going to be shown to her. But there was just one thing. Although she and Ryan were going to be majoring in the same thing, their classes were opposite semesters and there was a strict policy at the school that girls and boys could not room together- not even siblings. She and Ryan would be separated for the first time in their life and that, was why she was on the floor about to cry at 1:00 AM in the morning, the day before they were off to college. She wanted to go back to bed, but just couldn't so, swallowing her pride, she slowly got up and quietly tiptoed through her house to her brother's room. When she finally got to the closed door, she took at shaky breath and entered. Light snores and the sound of relaxed breathing were the only things coming from her brother's bed. She quitely walked to the edge of the bed and tryed to carefully crawl in beside Ryan without waking him. Sharpay ultimately failed and the slightly confused and sleepy grunt from him told her that he had awakened.

"Mmm... Sharp...ay?" he asked.

"Yes now just shut up okay!"

She was quite embarrassed to be caught, she hadn't crawled into her brother's bed since she was five.

"No need to *yawn* get angry."

"Just move over!" she replied. Once he did she snuggled a bit closer to him and he wrapped his arms around her.

"What's this all about?" he asked.

"Ryan..." she started, "I'm scared. I don't want to be seperated from you. WWhat if we don't see each other at all all year?"

He quickly caught on that she was talking about college.

"Sharpay, it'll be fine. A stupid rule and scheduling mishap won't seperate us. We can eat all of our meals together and go on break and hang out on the weekends. Julliard better get ready for Sharpay and Ryan Evans!"

She started crying a bit. She saw the logic in taht but she was still worried.

"Hey, stop that! You know I hate seeing you cry." He whispered to her as he gently wiped her tears from her eyes, "Now go to bed. We've got a big day tomorrow."

She sniffled a bit more but snuggled closer to Ryan. She fell asleep in his arms to the sound of him softly singing to her.
