The Great Maze Chall/Comp: You've reached a dead end and find a 'compass' on the floor there. Use it to find your way back.
He'd been searching for weeks and still he had not found the Ravenclaw Diadem. It wasn't something he expected to come across straight away, but it was insanely frustrating to find nothing, especially when he wanted it so badly.
Tom had mused at one point, maybe the ghost had been wrong; it had been moved sometime since her death. There wasn't many people that wouldn't show the diadem off to the world if they came across it through, so he scored out that possibility.
Unless, they didn't know it was the true Ravenclaw Diadem.
Sighing, he stopped near one of the largest tree's in this area, leaning it against it tiredly. Tom tried to imagine the scene the ghost has created for him when she describe where she'd hidden her mother's precious treasure.
("...in a hallow tree, that was where I hide my mother's diadem when he came for me ...")
Problem was, there was a lot of hallow trees in the Albanian forest.
If only he had a magical compass - the ones that showed their owners the destination of their desires - this would be a much easier task. Tom felt like he'd be walking through endless trees forever if things continued to go at the rate they were.
He straightened up, taking a deep breath and moving further into the forest. He would find this diadem one way or another, no matter how long it took.
He was immortal, after all.
