"CAT!" Jade screamed, coughing from the paint fumes.
"TABITHA!" Cat screamed back, looking very excited
"Tabitha?"
"Yes, I'm Cat and you're Tabitha." Jade sighed.
"Why?"
"Because, Tabby, I like the TV programme "Bewitched" and Tabitha is a witch on there,"
"Cat! I'm not a witch!"
"But I heard Tori call you that!"
"Well I'm not! Don't you think I would've told you?" Jade thought she must've gotten one letter wrong...
"Umm...Yes?" Jade rolled her blue eyes. "But, that's not the only reason!"
"And the other reason would be?"
"Well...If your Tabitha, and I'm Cat, as best friends, we'd be Tabby Cat!"
"Oh, Cat..." Jade said, exasperated. "Wait." She said, noticing something. "Cat, what did you do to my room!"
Cat smiled. "I painted it pink!"
"Go into that cupboard! Now!" Cat warily walked over, starting to cry.
"I don't want to be locked in a cupboard!" Jade looked at her like she was crazy.
"I just want you to get the black paint,"
"Oh! Kay kay!" She bounced back out with the paint.
"So about this Tabitha and Cat thing?" She said, at least trying to make Cat happy.
"I was thinking we could get matching ears and tails," Cat listed all of their matches.
"Oh, Cat..."
So she kept listing the ideas and Jade listened. Because they were Cat and Jade, or Cat and Tabitha, and they were best friends forever.
