Akita Kiril looks around brushing her silvery-white hair from her face. She was returning home from gathering Fire wood when she Notices Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman walking back as well. As she was very shy she shook her hair back in front of her eyes and walked over "H hello" She whispers and Mikasa looks over at her "Hey Akita" Eren grins "I didn't know you were out here too." Akita nods slightly "Yes... For a little while I have been" He nods. "Your dads in the interior today, right? Doesn't He help out with my father's research and with Tools to fight the titans?" He asks. Akita nods slightly. "Want to come by my house for lunch today?" He offers. She nods "That would be nice" She smiles Two startling red eyes peaking at her two friends through her hair. As they are walking back they stop to watch the Survey corps returning from their expedition. Eren watches excitedly as they march down the line. Akita smiles as well, she greatly respected the corps and though it was to follow Eren she was thinking of joining one of the corps as well. They headed to Erens home where they all had lunch. After Eren takes off and are sitting by the river Akita finally catches up. "Ah... Armin... Are you okay?" she asks and he nods. "Yeh, Mikasa and Eren came and stopped them" He sighs. After a moment Akita looks to the wall confused moments before the titan appears looking over the wall. After it breaks the wall she takes off panicked and is placed on the second boat. She crouches by the wall shaking and covering her head. After a bit Hannes arrives with Mikasa and Eren, both with haunted expressions. They sit next to her silent as the boat leaves.
It's been several days since Wall Maria fell to the Armored and Colossal titan and Akita's father arrived when Erens did. Both children where led out from the town together. Eren and Akita glance at each other confused. What could be so important that it couldn't be discussed with Armin and Mikasa around?
It's been two years since the fall of Wall Maria and the beginning of the 104th Training Corps. Eren, Mikasa and Armin had enlisted and to their surprise so did Akita. They all stand in their lines as Instructor Keith Sadies breaks down the new recruits. He arrives at Akita who salutes him silently staring at his chest instead of up. He stares "What's your name girl?" Akita looks up "Akita Kiril…. I am from Shiganshina district Sir" She says quietly. He frowns "I can't hear you girl. Speak up." Her eyes narrow and she straightens more and raises her voice to a shout that rivals His" Akita Kiril from Shiganshina District Sir!" She states. "And why are you here Akita Kiril from Shiganshina?" He inquires. "If not enough people step up to fight for Humanities sake in place of the fallen then how will we ever win?" She asks him back. He pauses and moves past her onto his next victim.
That evening Akita sits between Eren and Armin. "I didn't know you could actually raise your voice Akita" Armin says awed. "You've never really talked above a whisper before." Akita nods slightly "If the situation calls for me raising my voice I can do such…" Eren smacks her on the back and she looks startled. He looks happy "We can all make a difference in this world. Even the quietest can raise their heads and roar!" Akita smiles and nods in agreement and eats her food, ready for the trials that awaited them the next day.
