Notes:

The Great Maze Chall/Comp: You continue on ahead when you see someone. She's often very stern and wears her hair up in a bun, but she's really very fair and finds Quidditch very fun. I found out she used to even play on the Gryffindor team years back. She and your companion have loads to talk about.

It's only two months and Oliver will be a graduate from Hogwarts. He's a bit nervous, but at the same time, excitement fills him. He already has a place as a reserve Keeper on United Puddlemere. Of course, he'd rather be starting Keeper, but Oliver knows he needs to work his way up to that position. And he's willing to work for it. The Gryffindor Quidditch team would definitely contest to Oliver's willingness to work hard. They've had to deal with quite a bit and often groan and hold arguments about it.

Oliver knocks on the door in front of him and after hearing a "Come in," from inside, he pushes the door open.

Professor McGonagall looks up, quill dripped in ink and poised over a piece of parchment. "Mr. Wood, what can I do for you?

"I needed to ask you something." Suddenly he's nervous, wondering if this is a mistake.

Professor McGonagall puts her quill on the stand and gestures to the seat in front of her desk. "What do you need to talk about?"

Oliver sits down and nervously twiddles his thumb. "Well, I'm graduating soon and I'm excited, but I'm also nervous. Is that normal? I mean, were you nervous when you were getting ready to leave Hogwarts as a student?"

Professor McGonagall smiles. "Of course I was. Everyone's nervous; that's normal. I knew what I wanted to do with my life, and I channeled all of my nervousness into make my dreams become a reality."

"So, you actually dreamed of being a professor?"

"Being a professor at Hogwarts," Professor McGonagall corrects. She adds, "Hogwarts became my second home. I wouldn't want to teach at just any school, but I love the idea of future generations learning from me, and then going out into the world with the knowledge that I provided.

Oliver nods.

"Is it your dream to be a professional Quidditch player?"

Oliver looks at her with raised eyebrows and a 'duh' look on her face.

Professor McGonagall laughs. She actually laughs. "Right, stupid question. Then when you leave this place, focus on being the best Keeper you can be. Everything else will fall into place."

Oliver nods, a small smile touching his lips. He stands up and says, "Thank you, Professor."

"No problem..." she pauses, and then says, "Oliver."

Oliver leaves, suddenly having a letter step in his walk.
