"Kill her…. and the baby! What do I care?" After speaking these words Klaus left
Hayley at the mercy Sophie Devereaux and the other witches. These words that had
just been spoken by Klaus were like daggers to Hayley's heart. She didn't expect him
to be overjoyed about the predicament that they were now in, yet after hearing the
baby's heartbeat she thought it would have at least the slightest positive impact on the
big bad original hybrid. It took a lot of convincing on Elijah behalf to get Klaus onboard
with the protecting Hayley and caring for the child. After informing the witches of the fact
that Klaus accepted the deal, Elijah asked for the release Hayley as a condition of
Klaus accepting the witches' terms. Sophie agreed and Elijah took Hayley to his family
old home.
Hayley's Pov
After arriving to the Michelson's family home, I was shown to my bedroom by the
noble brother Elijah and I wanted to do was take a hot bath. As I soaked my body in the
warm water I couldn't help but to reflect on the awful days I spent in captivity, but even
more awful was the way I felt when Klaus rejected my baby and I. "Kill her…. and the
baby! What do I care?" keeping replaying through my mind, instead of enjoying a nice
relaxing bath I was beginning to become angrier at the father of my child for being so
heartless. At the same time I felt so weak because I have always been strong willed,
fearless and independent…. a natural born survivor yet this time the fate of not only
myself but my child's was in the hand of another. After getting out of the bath and
dressing for bed there was a knock at my door, "Come in" I said, suddenly Elijah
appeared before and sat at my bedside. He said he wanted to get to know me but
before I could have given him a rundown on my tragic life I was distracted by a loud
sound that went BOOM!
