Mulder's old friend came to Washington DC. He met Scully and felt in love with her.
Chapter 1:
Fox Mulder was waiting for Scully as a man slapped his shoulder. He jumped slightly, turning his head to face the man, his surprise was visible.
"Surprise!" the man smiled.
"Oh my God, Fran, is it you?" Mulder said, standing up.
"Haha, it's me. Hey you big macho man, long time no see!" Francesco laughed, hugging Mulder tightly.
"Fran, what are you doing here? Don't tell me that you just come here to visit me!" Mulder joked.
"No Mulder, I had a transfer to Washington DC because of my new mission."
"What mission?" Mulder asked curiously.
Francesco just opened his mouth to answer as a redhead stepped to Mulder, interrupting them.
"Hi Mulder, sorry I'm late," Scully smiled.
Francesco turned back to look at the beautiful readhead, nearly dropped his jaw.
"Oh, come here Scully! Let me introduce, this is Francesco, my college friend at Oxford. And Fran, this is… hey, your mouth Fran!"
Francesco startled, closing his mouth, "Oh! Hi! I'm Francesco Maldini. Nice to meet you."
"Hi agent Maldini, I'm Dana Scully, nice to meet you too," Scully said, extended her hand towards him, "are you Italian?" she tilted her head.
"No," Francesco laughed, "many people have asked me the same question before. My mother is an Italian. I'm American, of course!"
"Um, so may you two want to talk in private. I have to go now, see you later," Scully smiled.
"NO! You can stay here with us!" Francesco said immediately.
"Good bye Scully. See you later!" Mulder said.
"Ok, good bye."
"Hey you bad boy Mulder!" Francesco slapped Mulder's arm.
"What?"
"She's stunning beautiful! Mulder, why you don't tell me that you work with that woman before?"
"I told you about Scully!" Mulder said annoyed.
"I thought Scully is a man! Oh my God did you kiss her?"
"What? No! We are partner Fran!"
"Are you kidding me? How can you work with that beautiful readhead for five years and you haven't kissed her yet?" Francesco said in disbelief.
"I just tell you the truth, Fran. We have platonic partnership," Mulder chewed his lips.
"Really? Do you have any feeling for her?"
"No. We are just partner!" Mulder confirmed.
"So… do you mind if I… you know… I think I fell for her at the first sight," Francesco said mildly.
Mulder suddenly felt uncomfortable. He didn't know what to say, then he decided to change the subject, "so Fran, what's your mission?"
"Agent Mulder, Agent Maldini, come in!"
"Agent Maldini, here is agent Scully, she will work with you for this mission," Skinner said.
"Hi, nice to see you again," Scully smiled.
"Again?" Skinner asked.
"Yes, we knew each other some minutes ago, agent Mulder was my old friend in college," Francesco explained.
Skinner nodded, then he said, "Ok, I hope you two will have good relationship, because in this mission you going undercover as a couple to nab the murderer…"
"WHAT?" Skinner words finally get Mulder's attention.
Three people stared at him.
"Sorry… I mean, Scully works with me in The X Files… this mission is not her work," he asked mildly.
"Yes, I know it, agent Mulder, but we need a redhead for this case and Scully is one of our best angents here in Bureau."
"But…"
"And agent Maldini is the best person who solving many cases like this in LA, I think he can help us."
"But… it's very dangerous for agent Scully…"
"I'm fine, Mulder. I can do this," Scully said, then she turned to Skinner, "Sir, I think I can work with agent Maldini to catch this killer."
