Waiting for the Moon
Prologue

Her ardent blue eyes flickered open, focusing on the crème white ceiling. "She is up; she is working," a young woman's voice gleefully exclaimed. Footsteps travel closer towards her. "The child's beautiful. She is ours…hello dear," a young man's voice whispered soothingly. The woman sounded as if she was going to cry. "Name her, love." The young woman thought for a moment and than softly replied, naming the persocom "Ttisa."
Ttisa sat up and smiled at her loving parents. Her silvery blonde hair wisped around. Her mother was wearing a lilac floral dress, leaning against her husband. Her father was dressed in a fine black three-piece suit, hugging his wife from behind. "Konichiwa, I love you, Mama…Papa!" She yelled joyfully, running nudely to embrace her parents in a hug. "Oh darling," Mama said, crouching down to her daughter's level. Her papa kneeled and hugged his two wonderful girls.

Her life used to be happy. Times like these had faded, disappeared from the girl's life. She might just be a persocom but Ttisa remembered the dark crimson blood staining her parents' bodies. Her heart ached and silence fulfilled her. Ttisa remained still when anyone was near.
After her parents' funeral, she was sent to a used persocom shop. She was shut down, cleaned, and propped in the store window. Her long silver hair was brushed, glossed, and curled and her bright eyes closed peacefully. Her soft pink lips were in a neutral position though anyone who walked past saw the hurt in her expression. Her hands sat naturally at her side and her soft ivory skin was clothed in a lofty blue garb. There Ttisa sat, waiting for a new family, a buyer.
